“South Island Steam Memories” includes many of the author’s wonderful photos of steam trains in operation in the South Island of New Zealand from about 1966 onwards, including details of what was happening at the time and how he came to be taking the photos.
The author published this book to mark the 50th Anniversary of the end of NZR Steam.
