Identity (2020) is the 4th addition to her prints from Angie's 2019 range of paintings. The others are - Diversity, Equality & Unity.
An extension of the diversity range she released last year, it aims to question us about our NZ identity. The Kiwi being the informal name for all New Zealanders, the Māori Bowl as a recognition of New Zealand's history with the indigenous Māori people and the hibiscus flower to show our proximity to the pacific ocean and it's islands.
These 4 pieces celebrate and recognise New Zealand’s cultural diversity together with the unique native birds. There are over 200 nationalities in NZ, so she was able to cover a few in these pieces. The bowl is the same in each piece to show the commonality of each nationality based on where we live.
Print Size: A2 Framed.
Angie’s prints are produced to the highest quality, using UV light fast inks and printed on 300gsm bright white cotton rag-based water-resistant textured matte acid free paper for the open editions, of which this is from.
