"Sister Moon"" is the name of this beautiful print By Nikki McIvor. It would look stunning on your wall or would make a thoughtful gift.
There is special meaning behind this print which is included with the artwork.
The artist’s thoughts on this drawing: “I have a feeling of affinity with the little ruru (morepork). He wakes when the stillness of night rises; and he calls through the trees in the dark, kept company by the moon.” The pounamu that the morepork wears has its own special significance. This particular one is the symbol for regeneration, which ties into the native birds coming back to our farm as we regenerate the indigenous bush.
