These gloves are made in New Zealand, with organically grown and scoured wool.

They come in two different sizes - medium and large to cover most hand shapes and sizes. With memorable stretch this allows them to stretch to the wearer and return to their shape, the combination is 50% Pihepe wool, 25% Merino wool and 25% Possum Fur.

The gloves are not dyed, just the natural colour of the wool and possum and they move with you. It's soft-to-the-touch wool has bulk and bounce with a light and airy feel.

Wyld garments are created by the pioneers of Cosywear, they use the natural ingredients to allow you to adapt to your environment in the same way the sheep's wool does to it's.

How do you Care for it -  a cool gentle hand wash with wool detergent is best, wring dry in a towel. If you need to tumble dry hot to shrink back into shape, but best to dry naturally.

All gloves come in our Wyld bamboo gift bag.

Pihepe are also known as Pitt Island Sheep and originate from Saxony Merinos, being sent from the Chatham Islands to the Pitt Islands in 1841.  There they thrived in the challenging environment, now the Beattie family run a flock of 2500 on Banks Peninsula and continue to breed them through natural selection and organically.
